Land Transport Operations Planner – LTL Import

About the role

You will act as the main interface between foreign freight forwarding partners, international hubs and our internal teams, ensuring smooth handling of groupage freight import consignments. The role focuses on planning, coordinating and optimizing land transport operations for less‑than‑truckload (LTL) imports.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate transport orders for import groupage freight.
• Manage loading of trucks, purchase storage space and guarantee high‑quality service for customers.
• Negotiate rates and prices with carriers and customers.
• Maintain daily communication with the “status” team and update shipment information in the CIEL system.
• Monitor overdue invoices for import customers and provide regular reports to management (daily, weekly, monthly).
• Continuously develop services, explore new markets, clients and suppliers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics or a related field.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to navigate complex international transport environments.
• Proactive, communicative and comfortable networking across cultures.
• Fluent in Georgian and able to communicate effectively in English.
• High readiness to learn and adapt, especially for career‑changers.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CIEL shipment‑tracking and information system.
