Junior Operations Analyst

About the role

As a Junior Operations Analyst you will join the Operations Analysis & Reporting Unit of a leading bank. You will help build a data‑driven view of key operational functions, supporting efficiency, client experience and risk visibility across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze operational functions such as credit administration, collateral valuation, client onboarding and cross‑border payments, using predictive analytics and workload forecasting to identify delays and recommend improvements.
• Support the creation and maintenance of real‑time dashboards that monitor KPIs, productivity, SLA compliance and performance at departmental and individual levels.
• Ensure data accuracy, completeness and consistency across all operational datasets.
• Collaborate with the Data Analytics team to integrate machine‑learning models into processes and to automate workflows.
• Translate analytical findings into actionable insights and assist in presenting results to senior management.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement and process‑optimization projects.

Required profile

• Degree in Business, Economics, Finance or a related quantitative field.
• Experience in operational analytics, data processing, business intelligence or process intelligence.
• Strong working knowledge of Excel; familiarity with Power BI and SQL is a plus.
• Understanding of data‑visualisation principles and reporting best practices.
