About the role
We are looking for a Junior Finance Associate to support Skilled Nursing Facility Accounts Receivable operations. Working remotely from the Republic of Georgia and aligned with the New York time zone, you will help ensure accurate financial reporting, data analysis, and month‑end audits for top U.S. healthcare companies.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly AR reports for management and stakeholders, meeting strict deadlines.
- Analyze aging balances, payments, and collections, identifying and explaining unusual trends.
- Investigate discrepancies and reconcile operational AR data with financial records.
- Assist with cost reporting, internal/external audits, and auditor inquiries.
- Improve reporting templates and workflows to enhance AR accuracy and efficiency.
Required profile
- Background, degree, or current coursework in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and high accuracy when handling data.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet strict deadlines.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with accounting teams, leadership, and auditors.
- Basic understanding of healthcare AR is a plus.
Required skills
- Microsoft Excel – advanced proficiency with large datasets and complex spreadsheets.
