Infrastructure Project Manager

About the role

Gcore, a global provider of infrastructure and software solutions for AI, cloud, network and security, is looking for an Infrastructure Project Manager. You will run projects that deploy and change Gcore infrastructure, from intake through handover to operations and formal closure. Standard projects are run end-to-end on your own, while larger or non-standard ones receive support from the Head of IPM and more senior PMs.

Key responsibilities

• Set up each project in Jira, break it down into tasks, build a schedule and identify key risks and dependencies at kick-off
• Track linked tasks across counterpart teams' Jira projects (IDS, PRO, DCI, HDWR) and report on active tickets
• Prepare cost estimates at initiation using the team's templates, move projects through approval and reconcile budget versus actuals at closure
• Brief the Infrastructure Architects, Procurement and Logistics teams, monitor requests, POs and deliveries, and escalate risks early
• Coordinate hand-over to Server and Network Operations, organise acceptance testing and capture lessons learned
• Flag risks and issues early, keep stakeholders informed, handle scope changes and follow the Kanban flow and metrics (Lead Time, Throughput, WIP)

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years in project management in infrastructure, data centres, telecom or IT operations, able to run a standard project without step-by-step support
• Solid understanding of server and network hardware and data centre basics (racks, PDUs, power and cooling, switches, cross-connects, IP addressing)
• Confident use of Jira (or an equivalent tracker) and ability to work with incomplete information and several projects at once
• English at B2 or above, clear communication with technical and non-technical audiences

Nice to have

• Experience with Kanban and flow metrics, multi-vendor projects and infrastructure budget estimation
• PMP or similar project management certification
• Experience in a distributed international team
