Founding Head of Marketing

About the role

MindFriend is building a technology marketplace that connects individuals with independent, licensed mental‑health professionals. We are seeking a Founding Head of Marketing to design and launch a full‑funnel acquisition engine that will drive growth for both service users and clinicians.

Key responsibilities

• Create and execute an integrated go‑to‑market strategy aligned with company objectives.
• Own brand positioning, messaging, and ensure consistency across all campaigns.
• Develop acquisition strategies for both sides of the marketplace, including organic social, community engagement, and paid media on Meta and Google.
• Plan, set up, and optimise paid campaigns, manage budgets, and report performance.
• Build authentic clinician‑led and user‑generated content programs.
• Lead email and lifecycle marketing, partnership, PR, and referral initiatives.
• Improve the customer journey from first touch to completed booking.
• Establish KPI reporting, risk assessment, and actionable recommendations for leadership.

Required profile

• Significant experience leading growth, brand, or full‑funnel marketing in an early‑stage or fast‑growing company.
• Proven track record of creating and executing end‑to‑end marketing strategies.
• Strong performance‑marketing expertise, especially with Meta and Google Ads.
• Deep understanding of customer journeys, conversion funnels, attribution, and experimentation.
• Experience managing budgets and allocating resources based on data.
• Ability to brief and manage producers, designers, creators, agencies, or freelancers.
• Excellent analytical judgement and clear communication with senior leadership.
