Financial Analyst

About the role

The company Rustavi Foladi is looking for a qualified Financial Analyst to conduct in‑depth analysis of its financial and operational data and provide decision‑support information to management.

Key responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive analysis of the company’s financial and operational results.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual managerial reports.
• Compare budgeted, actual and forecasted indicators and identify variances.
• Identify causes of payment delays and develop appropriate recommendations.
• Analyse revenue, expenses, profitability, cash flow and working capital.
• Assess product cost, production expenses and efficiency metrics.
• Develop financial models and various analytical reports.
• Participate in the preparation of the annual budget and periodic financial forecasts.
• Evaluate investment projects and capital expenditures.
• Identify financial risks and opportunities for performance improvement.
• Prepare analytical conclusions, reports and presentations for senior management.
• Collaborate with auditors, finance and other internal units.
• Support improvement of financial reporting and data processing procedures.
• Provide professional guidance to junior analysts when required.

Required profile

• Higher education in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Auditing, Accounting or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in financial analysis, audit, financial consulting or managerial reporting.
• Preferably experience in a Big Four or other leading international audit/consulting firm.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and basic principles of financial reporting.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting and managerial reporting.
• Fluent English (minimum B2 level).

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel at an advanced professional level (complex formulas, PivotTables, data analysis, financial modelling).
• Power Query.
• Power BI.
• ERP or other financial systems.
• Knowledge of IFRS.
