Finance Project Manager

About the role

GoMining runs a portfolio of products including Digital Miners, the GOMINING token, GoMining Card, Simple Earn, Wallet, Miner Wars and Academy. As the business grows, its finance function has become more complex, with more providers, processes and reporting. The Finance department is looking for a Project Manager to own internal projects such as process optimisation, reporting automation, new provider integrations and coordination between finance and the rest of the company. The role suits someone with a strong project management mindset and a solid understanding of finance; a background in Finance Operations is welcome.

Key responsibilities

• Own finance initiatives end to end: scope, plan, define stakeholders and timeline, and deliver results.
• Integrate new providers and systems into finance workflows, working with product, engineering, payments and accounting.
• Track timelines and chase dependencies across departments so projects meet their dates.
• Report status, risks and results clearly to department heads and senior leadership.
• Map finance and accounting processes, find bottlenecks and manual work, and prioritise fixes.
• Automate financial reporting and build new processes from scratch where none exist.
• Standardise how finance works with other teams: requests, handoffs, approvals and ownership.
• Proactively identify issues in processes and data, understand root causes and propose solutions.

Required profile

• 5+ years in project management, ideally in Finance or Operations.
• Solid understanding of finance and accounting processes.
• Experience working across departments and aligning stakeholders you do not manage.
• Track record of running projects independently from idea to result.
• Strong ownership, proactive attitude and confident communication with senior leaders.
• Comfort with a high pace, large workload, uncertainty and shifting priorities.
• Strong written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Process automation, process optimisation and system integrations.
• Plus: Business Operations or Finance Operations experience, crypto/fintech/payments experience, and experience integrating payment or financial service providers.
