Direct Response Copywriter – Email Retention (Dutch, Remote)

About the role

We are a fast‑growing Shopify retention agency looking for a Dutch‑speaking Direct Response Copywriter to join our remote team. This entry‑level position focuses on email retention, giving you real ownership from day one and a clear path toward senior strategy roles.

Key responsibilities

• Write direct‑response email copy for 6‑8 client “pods” following the strategy defined by the Senior Retention Manager.
• Maintain project flow: provide status updates, chase approvals, and manage daily sequencing.
• Contribute ideas to account strategy and develop strategic instincts alongside senior staff.
• Prepare and format performance reports for senior decision‑making.
• Identify and resolve potential blockers before they affect the client.

Required profile

• Proven experience writing Dutch copy in an agency setting.
• Basic project‑management experience – you can keep tasks, approvals and deadlines organized.
• Reliability and accountability – you deliver on promises without constant follow‑up.
• Native‑level Dutch language proficiency.
• Strong desire to grow into strategy and account ownership.
