About the role

The CT Technologist performs high‑quality imaging procedures, ensures patient safety and comfort, and maintains equipment according to infection‑control standards. Working independently, the technologist applies ALARA principles while delivering accurate diagnostic images.

Key responsibilities

Obtain clinical history, verify patient identity and explain procedures using AIDET.
Administer contrast agents, position patients, and operate CT equipment while minimizing radiation exposure.
Review images for diagnostic quality, document procedures in RIS/PACS, and respond to emergencies.

Required profile

High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
Minimum 1 year radiology experience.
Current ARRT‑R, ARRT‑CT and BLS certifications.

Required skills

Technical proficiency in CT imaging.
Operation of radiographic imaging equipment.
Documentation using RIS and PACS systems.
