Buyer (Procurement Specialist)

About the role

LATICRETE International is seeking a motivated Buyer to manage the procurement of goods and services that support our high‑performance tile and stone installation systems. The role focuses on achieving cost, quality, and delivery targets while maintaining optimal inventory levels.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and adjust stocking models based on demand forecasts, lead times, and supplier capabilities.
• Identify inventory risks such as potential stockouts and communicate mitigation options.
• Execute MRP action messages, create and manage purchase orders, and track inbound logistics.
• Maintain purchasing master data, including lead times, order multiples, and safety stock.
• Resolve day‑to‑day supplier issues related to price, delivery, and invoicing.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret demand signals and MRP data.
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with Planning, Operations, Finance, and suppliers.
• Detail‑oriented approach to maintain accurate purchasing records.
