AI Graphic Designer – Freelance

About the role

Social Discovery Group is seeking a freelance AI Graphic Designer to join its creative team. You will blend cutting‑edge AI tools with strong design fundamentals to produce high‑impact visuals for paid acquisition, social media, landing pages, and email campaigns.

Key responsibilities

• Design performance creatives and banners for Meta, TikTok, Google and other ad platforms.
• Create landing‑page mockups and email templates for hand‑off to development teams (no coding required).
• Produce social‑media visuals and brand assets that follow established guidelines.
• Use AI image‑generation tools daily to generate variations, backgrounds, and style‑consistent assets.
• Adapt existing concepts across multiple sizes, formats, and platforms while preserving visual consistency.
• Collaborate with producers, requesters, and the lead designer to scope tasks and align on creative direction.
• Incorporate basic performance metrics (CTR, CPA, spend) into creative decisions.

Required profile

• Strong graphic design fundamentals (composition, typography, colour, hierarchy) demonstrated in a portfolio.
• Experience applying brand guidelines to high‑volume static design.
• Proficiency designing for digital formats such as ads, landing pages, newsletters, and social media.
• Ability to iterate quickly based on feedback and meet SLA turnaround times.

Required skills

• Figma (auto‑layout, components, libraries).
• Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
• Practical experience with AI image‑generation tools (e.g., Midjourney, Flux, ComfyUI, Stable Diffusion, NanoBanana, Imagen).
• Prompt engineering and reference‑based generation for production use.
• Familiarity with character/style consistency techniques (LoRA, IP‑Adapter, ControlNet) – a plus.
