Accounts Payable Accountant

About the role

We are looking for an Accounts Payable Accountant to join Evolution Georgia’s finance team. The role reports to the senior accountant and involves daily accounting tasks in line with IFRS and local tax regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform and manage daily accounting and bookkeeping according to IFRS and tax requirements.
• Process and post supplier invoices in compliance with IFRS and tax rules.
• Maintain the Fixed Assets Register records following IFRS and tax guidelines.
• Provide backup for colleagues during vacations, sick leaves, and other absences.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an accountant in a strong control environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration.
• Good knowledge of local tax and accounting legislation.
• Strong understanding of IFRS and IAS.
• Fluent in Georgian and English, both spoken and written.
• Self‑driven, resilient and able to thrive in a challenging environment.
• Team player.

Required skills

• Advanced computer skills, preferably with MSC Navision.
• Experience with SAP (a plus).
