1st Year Audit Assistant – Valuation in Assurance

About the role

Join EY’s Valuation in Assurance team as a 1st Year Audit Assistant. You will work on client engagements, applying valuation methodologies and supporting audit and assurance projects focused on real‑estate and other valuation‑related matters.

Key responsibilities

• Support the ViA team within FAAS in performing analyses and valuation assessments of various real‑estate properties.
• Assist in reviewing valuations and financial models for financial reporting and assurance engagements.
• Contribute to audit and assurance engagements by analysing valuation‑related issues.
• Conduct research, gather information, and help evaluate valuation methodologies, assumptions and documentation.
• Develop knowledge of professional valuation standards such as the RICS Red Book, International Valuation Standards and IFRS 13.
• Prepare working papers, analyses and other engagement documentation under senior guidance.
• Collaborate with team members across different engagements while building technical and professional skills.

Required profile

• Degree (or in progress) in Finance, Economics, Business, Management, Accounting or a related field; focus on valuation is a plus.
• Interest in real‑estate valuation and willingness to learn about different property types.
• Fluent written and spoken English and native‑level Georgian; German or French is an advantage.
• Strong academic record and any relevant internship or work experience.
• Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented and good communication skills.
