Wind Turbine Operation & Maintenance Engineer (Electrical)

About the role

Goldwind International Georgia LLC is looking for an Electrical Engineer to join its wind farm projects in the Shida Kartli region. The role involves operating and maintaining wind turbines, ensuring safe and reliable performance while supporting the country’s energy transition.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on wind turbines to guarantee safe and stable operation.
• Conduct systematic inspections, diagnostics, troubleshooting, fault analysis and repairs to restore turbines promptly.
• Collaborate with technicians for equipment inspections, testing and risk identification.
• Strictly follow safety standards, procedures and environmental regulations during all maintenance activities.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, repair logs and test reports for full traceability.
• Manage spare‑parts inventory at the local warehouse, monitoring stock and coordinating usage.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, Automation or a related field.
• Georgia citizenship.
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
• B2 level proficiency in English (mandatory).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Fresh graduates are welcome; previous wind turbine installation experience is a plus.

Required skills

• Knowledge of PLC and SCADA systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and circuit diagrams.
