Technical Sales Manager – Central Asia (Tbilisi)

About the role

ArcelorMittal Projects is seeking a Technical Sales Manager to lead the development of its Central Asian market from our Tbilisi office. You will combine deep technical knowledge of steel solutions with strong commercial acumen to create value for customers across Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Mongolia.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and qualify new projects in the region, building a network of customers, engineering firms, construction companies and government agencies.
• Provide technical expertise and early‑stage design assistance for ArcelorMittal steel products and R&D solutions.
• Conduct market and competitor analysis, track project pipelines and develop short‑ and long‑term sales plans.
• Deliver training seminars and technical presentations to engineering companies, contractors and end‑users.
• Promote ArcelorMittal solutions to ensure they become the preferred option for all stakeholders.
• Maintain regular on‑site visits and client contacts to support ongoing projects and generate new business.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Business or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of proven technical sales experience, preferably in mining or heavy industry.
• Fluent in English, Kazakh and Russian; additional European languages are a plus.
• Willingness to travel regularly across the Central Asian region.
• Knowledge of accounting, tax or regulatory rules in Kazakhstan is advantageous.
