Tax Assistant

About the role

Cora Consulting, a leading audit and advisory firm in Georgia, is seeking a detail‑oriented Tax Assistant to join its Audit & Assurance team. You will support tax audit projects, ensure compliance with Georgian tax legislation, and contribute to the delivery of high‑quality tax consulting services.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in planning and managing tax audit projects.
• Review accounting and tax records in line with applicable legislation and prepare related reports.
• Examine the full tax base, including revenues, expenses, assets, liabilities, and other financial data.
• Identify tax risks and recommend mitigation measures.
• Request and review necessary documentation during the audit process.
• Provide tax consulting services to internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Higher education in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in finance or tax.
• Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.
• High sense of responsibility and ability to meet deadlines.
• Willingness to work in a team and pursue professional development.
• Professional‑level English is preferred.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of MS Excel.
• Basic knowledge of the Tax Code of Georgia.
