SME Sales Manager – Specialist

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Manager, Specialist Sales – SME to lead the sales strategy for small‑and‑medium‑enterprise (SME) payment solutions across Georgia and Armenia. Reporting to the SME Sales Director, the role operates at both strategic and operational levels without direct reports.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive SME sales strategy to maximise revenue and profit for Mastercard’s SME products.
• Manage a strategic sales pipeline, driving growth in existing SME portfolios across financial institutions and non‑financial institutions.
• Identify, convert and commercialise new business opportunities, building ecosystems within the SME segment.
• Achieve SME P&L objectives and support regional expert‑sales initiatives aligned with Mastercard’s revenue goals.
• Identify product‑innovation opportunities and provide subject‑matter expertise for SME payment solutions.
• Lead end‑to‑end project delivery, coordinating with cross‑functional partners across multiple geographies.

Required profile

• Deep knowledge of SME payment products and services, particularly SME Card offerings.
• Significant sales and business‑development experience within the SME space.
• Proven track record in the payments industry with strong account‑management capabilities.
• Extensive project and relationship‑management experience in multicultural, multi‑location environments.
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills, able to execute through indirect reports.
