Senior Site Reliability Engineer – Kubernetes & AWS

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to design, build, and operate highly reliable, scalable distributed systems for a global mobility platform. You will work closely with development teams to improve system availability, performance, and resilience while automating infrastructure and operational processes.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain reliable, scalable distributed services.
• Improve system availability, performance, and resilience through automation and best‑practice monitoring.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, deployments, and operational workflows.
• Diagnose and resolve production incidents, participate in on‑call rotations, and lead post‑mortems.
• Lead upgrades and migrations with minimal or zero downtime.
• Collaborate with developers to enhance operability and reduce toil.
• Drive capacity planning, alerting, and disaster‑recovery strategies.

Required profile

• Extensive experience with Kubernetes and AWS in production environments.
• Strong programming skills in Java and willingness to learn Ruby.
• Deep understanding of concurrency, runtime behavior, and performance optimization.
• Hands‑on experience with Docker and containerized workloads.
• Proven ability to design high‑availability and disaster‑recovery infrastructure.
