Senior Ruby Software Engineer

About the role

Join Exadel’s AI‑first global tech team as a Senior Ruby Software Engineer, working on a cutting‑edge taxi ordering platform. You will help build and maintain high‑performance services that power vehicle management, rider experiences, and payment processing for a large mobility ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Write production‑grade Ruby code for autoscaling, internal tooling, and operational automation.
• Improve application performance, scalability, and reliability across ride‑server and payment‑server components.
• Optimize databases and containerized environments, ensuring efficient query execution and resource usage.
• Enhance CI pipelines and automate delivery processes for continuous integration and deployment.
• Maintain and tune Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS infrastructure supporting the platform.

Required profile

• Strong background in Ruby development and software engineering best practices.
• Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS services.
• Proven ability to optimize databases and work with container orchestration.
• Experience automating CI/CD workflows and infrastructure processes.
• Upper‑intermediate English communication skills and a focus on performance and reliability.
