Senior Retail Project Analyst

About the role

The Retail Project Management Unit of Bank of Georgia is seeking a Senior Retail Project Analyst to support high‑impact retail banking projects through sharp analysis, process optimization, and data‑driven insights. We are looking for an exceptionally analytical thinker with banking experience who enjoys breaking down complex processes, is comfortable working with numbers, and can turn findings into practical, measurable improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze existing retail banking processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and optimization opportunities.
• Conduct gap analysis by mapping current (AS‑IS) and future (TO‑BE) states using BPMN 2.0 and maintain comprehensive documentation.
• Gather and translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and project deliverables.
• Prepare data‑driven business cases, cost‑benefit analyses, and financial impact assessments.
• Partner with Project Managers to co‑manage planning, track timelines, dependencies, and progress.
• Collaborate with IT, Operations, Finance, Legal, and Compliance to ensure accurate implementation of requirements.
• Define and monitor project and process KPIs, build reports and dashboards, and present insights to senior leadership.
• Participate in solution testing and post‑implementation reviews to verify expected results.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of banking experience, preferably in business analysis, process optimization, or project‑related roles.
• Proven hands‑on experience in process optimization and improvement initiatives.
• Solid understanding of retail banking products such as loans, deposits, cards, payments, and digital channels.
• Strong analytical, logical thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
• High comfort working with numbers and data, with excellent attention to detail.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
