Senior Golang Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Golang Engineer to take ownership of a mature production software product that runs directly on customer devices. The role blends backend and system‑level development with cross‑platform support, troubleshooting, releases, and continuous product improvement. You will work remotely with a top‑tier compensation package.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve the core application using Go.
• Design and maintain REST APIs and background services.
• Contribute to the React and TypeScript frontend.
• Support cross‑platform environments including macOS, Windows, and Linux ARM.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and cross‑platform build processes.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues.
• Work with OpenCV for image and screenshot analysis.
• Handle application packaging, releases, updates, and ongoing maintenance.
• Identify technical issues and implement reliable solutions.
• Take ownership of technical decisions and independently manage development tasks.

Required profile

• Solid commercial experience with Go in production environments.
• Good knowledge of React and TypeScript.
• Experience with cross‑platform software development (macOS, Windows, Linux).
• Experience building REST APIs and background services.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitLab CI.
• Proven ability to support and maintain production software.
• Strong independent work ethic and ownership of mature software products.
• Comfortable troubleshooting production issues and handling releases.
• Willingness to use AI coding tools as part of the workflow.
