RN House Supervisor (PRN Days)

About the role

The RN House Supervisor provides hospital‑wide leadership, overseeing clinical, operational and safety functions. As a key member of the leadership team, they manage resources, ensure quality care, and foster a culture of safety and collaboration. This PRN days position supports continuous improvement and staff development across the facility.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate hospital operations in the absence of senior leaders, ensuring effective deployment of staff, equipment, and resources.
• Promote operational excellence, patient throughput, and adherence to safety, regulatory, and quality standards.
• Serve as a communication hub, sharing information clearly with staff, physicians, and visitors, and resolving conflicts professionally.
• Manage emergency response activities, including establishing command centers and implementing surge plans.
• Support performance improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma and evidence‑based practices.
• Mentor staff, enforce policies, and model professional and ethical standards in nursing practice.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing or a related field.
• RN licensure (single or multi‑state Compact), BLS certification, and ACLS preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience and 2 years of nursing leadership or supervisory experience.
