RN Charge Nurse - MedSurg, FT Nights

About the role

This full‑time night shift position is for a Registered Nurse who will lead a MedSurg unit as a Charge Nurse. The RN will provide high‑quality patient care, coordinate the care team, and act as a key communicator between patients, families and providers.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, examine and evaluate patient conditions, develop and implement care plans independently.
• Coordinate patient flow, ensure safe delivery of care and accurately document assessments, interventions and incidents.
• Address patient and family concerns, provide education on health issues and promote patient‑centered care.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and contribute ideas for better outcomes.
• Maintain professional licenses and certifications, pursue ongoing development and leadership opportunities.
• Mentor and support fellow nurses while upholding confidentiality, safety standards and professionalism.

Required profile

• Associate or Diploma in Nursing required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Valid RN license (multistate or single‑state) and BLS certification (Instructor or Provider).
• Demonstrated clinical judgment, strong communication and teamwork abilities.
