RN – Acute Care Orthopedic Surgery – Weekend Night (Full‑Time)

About the role

Provides comprehensive nursing care in an acute care setting, focusing on orthopedic surgical patients during weekend night shifts. The role involves assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of individualized patient care based on evidence‑based practices.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver patient‑centered care in partnership with patients and families, respecting cultural diversity.
• Ensure safe, quality care through accurate documentation, interdisciplinary collaboration, and adherence to clinical standards.
• Support performance improvement initiatives, participate in research, and promote evidence‑based practice.
• Mentor and precept other nurses and staff, fostering a professional and healthy work environment.
• Contribute to resource planning, protocol development, and process improvements to optimize patient outcomes.

Required profile

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (preferred).
• Current RN license (single‑state or multi‑state compact).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at hire.
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in direct patient care.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
