About the role

The Risk Manager will support the Risk Management Department by assessing, monitoring, and reporting on financial and operational risks associated with the corporation’s investment, project and operational decisions. The role requires strong analytical abilities and the capacity to communicate findings to senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct pre‑assessment of risks for investment, project and operational decisions and document results for the department head.
• Identify, classify and help develop preventive measures for operational and financial risks.
• Apply quantitative risk models such as VaR, stress testing, credit rating models and scenario analysis, and interpret the outcomes.
• Monitor adherence to risk limits, track portfolio diversification metrics and promptly alert the department head of any breaches.
• Draft and periodically update risk‑related procedures, policies and framework documents.
• Analyse external macro‑economic, regulatory and market factors impacting the corporation.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, capital‑management and reporting standards, reporting any deficiencies.
• Prepare analytical reports, presentations and work documents for management and other units as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, business administration, audit or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in audit, monitoring, risk management, compliance or assessment.
• Knowledge of modern risk‑management and compliance practices.
• Experience in process analysis and optimisation.
• Strong analytical, strategic and data‑driven decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including high‑level English.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
