Risk Management Specialist

About the role

The Risk Management Specialist will work on‑site in Tbilisi, identifying, assessing and monitoring risks across VOLTA. The role supports strategic and operational decision‑making by providing clear risk analyses and recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct risk analyses and maintain up‑to‑date risk registers.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of enterprise risk management frameworks and policies.
• Collaborate with finance and operational teams to evaluate financial and operational exposures.
• Recommend mitigation measures and track the effectiveness of implemented controls.
• Prepare risk reports and presentations for senior management.
• Support internal audits and promote risk awareness throughout the organization.

Required profile

• Strong analytical skills with practical experience in risk analysis.
• Knowledge of Enterprise Risk Management frameworks and methods.
• Solid understanding of finance, including basic financial modeling and analysis.
• Effective communication skills for presenting complex risk information.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, statistics or a related field; advanced risk certifications (e.g., FRM, CRM) are a plus.
• Experience in risk, audit or compliance roles within corporate, financial or infrastructure sectors is beneficial.
• High attention to detail, integrity and ability to work collaboratively on‑site.
