Registered Nurse – MedSurg, Full-Time Nights

About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide high‑quality, patient‑centered care on a night shift within a Med‑Surg unit. The RN acts as a key liaison among patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team, ensuring safety and effective treatment throughout the night.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions, assisting with care planning and prioritizing daily patient flow.
• Deliver safe, effective nursing care in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
• Advocate for patients by responding to concerns, providing education, and communicating with families and interdisciplinary staff.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives, suggesting solutions to enhance patient outcomes, satisfaction, and staff morale.
• Mentor and support colleagues, fostering a positive work environment and promoting shared governance principles.

Required profile

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (preferred).
• Current RN license and required certifications such as Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire.
• One to two years of Med‑Surg nursing experience preferred.
