Registered Nurse - Charge, MedSurg, FT Days

About the role

This position provides high‑quality nursing care as part of a patient‑care team, assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient needs while fostering a supportive environment and advocating for patients.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, examine, and evaluate patient conditions and assist with care planning to ensure safe, effective care according to policies.
• Document assessments, care provided, and incidents, and communicate with patients, families, and staff to coordinate care.
• Address patient concerns, serve as an educational resource, and promote patient‑ and family‑centered care for satisfaction.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, support organizational projects, and foster a collaborative work environment.
• Maintain professional licensure, complete required training, and pursue growth and leadership development opportunities.
• Mentor and support fellow nurses, uphold confidentiality and safety standards, and promote the nursing profession.

Required profile

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred).
• Current RN license and BLS certification; multi‑state RN license preferred.
• Minimum two years of leadership experience in Med‑Surg nursing.
