QA Engineer

About the role

CashFlow Central is looking for a QA Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and release readiness of solutions that support small businesses. The role sits within an agile scrum team and focuses on preventing defects, improving test coverage, and providing clear quality signals throughout the delivery lifecycle. The ideal candidate works independently, translates evolving requirements into practical test strategies, and raises confidence in each release through disciplined validation and automation.

Key responsibilities

• Define test strategy and test plans for new features, integrations, enhancements, and production fixes.
• Design, execute, and maintain functional, integration, regression, and exploratory testing across CashFlow Central solutions.
• Build and maintain automated test coverage to improve release confidence and delivery speed.
• Partner with product and engineering to clarify acceptance criteria, identify gaps early, and surface quality risks before release.
• Triage defects, support root‑cause analysis with developers, and prioritize issues based on customer impact and release risk.

Required profile

• Senior‑level QA or test engineering experience in agile, production software delivery.
• Proven ability to design and execute test strategy across functional, integration, regression, and exploratory testing.
• Experience with test automation for APIs, services, user workflows, or integrated systems.
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD pipelines, release validation, and quality gates.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with developers, product partners, and stakeholders.
