Planning Specialist – Infrastructure Projects

About the role

SMEC, a member of the Surbana Jurong Group, is seeking an experienced Planning Specialist to support construction supervision for a major roads, tunnels and bridges infrastructure project. The role involves developing and maintaining detailed project schedules, tracking progress and ensuring alignment with the Programme of Works.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, update and maintain project planning schedules and progress tracking systems.
• Monitor project progress against the Programme of Works and report variances.
• Support data analysis, resource allocation and performance tracking.
• Identify delays, propose corrective actions and develop recovery plans.
• Prepare regular planning and progress reports for stakeholders.

Required profile

• Qualified Planning Specialist or related engineering discipline.
• Preferably 5+ years of experience in project planning roles.
• Experience in infrastructure projects is an advantage.
