Payments Processor – Remote (NY Timezone)

About the role

Pharmbills is seeking a Payments Processor to join its finance operations team. The role is fully remote, aligned with the New York time zone, and supports U.S.-based healthcare clients. You will ensure that incoming payments are accurately recorded, matched, and reconciled.

Key responsibilities

• Process and record incoming payments from insurance companies and patients.
• Match payments with corresponding invoices and services.
• Reconcile daily transactions and resolve any discrepancies.
• Update financial records and maintain accurate data entry.
• Report payment trends, delays, or irregularities to internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with U.S.-based teams to ensure timely resolution of payment issues.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and high accuracy.
• English communication skills at B2 level or higher.
• Experience with payment processing, accounting, or data entry (preferred but not mandatory).
• Familiarity with spreadsheets and financial software.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Problem‑solving mindset and proactive attitude.
