Part-Time Educator – After‑School Program

About the role

Right At School delivers before‑ and after‑school programs that blend learning with fun activities. As a Part‑Time Educator at Sycamore Elementary, you will support the daily extended‑day schedule, helping children explore, learn, and stay safe in a nurturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily program meetings to review goals, share ideas, and ensure team accountability.
• Organize and facilitate structured fitness, educational activities, and curriculum aligned with program objectives.
• Model positive guidance and classroom management to maintain a safe, enjoyable atmosphere.
• Monitor safety, document attendance and incidents, and follow all safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.

Required profile

• Outstanding customer‑service and relationship‑building abilities.
• At least one year of experience working with children under 13 (preferred).
• Ability to lift 25 lb and meet Georgia state requirements, including First Aid and CPR certification.
• High school diploma or GED; 18 + years of age.
• Flexibility to support additional local programs as needed.
