About the role

The Bank of Georgia is looking for a Micro Credit Group Head to lead the credit teams in the Akhalkalaki and Ninotsminda branches. The main goal is to increase the volume of micro‑loans issued by the group while maintaining high portfolio quality.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and acquire potential clients, offering loans and additional bank products.
• Present micro‑credit products to prospects and conduct sales negotiations.
• File and forward documentation to the appropriate departments.
• Monitor and control the quality of the group’s loan portfolio.
• Supervise subordinate staff, track their results and portfolio performance.
• Prepare and present group results to the department.
• Ensure compliance with service standards and bank procedures.
• Manage correspondence related to the credit activities.

Required profile

• Higher education, preferably in Economics, Finance, Marketing, Management or a technical field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in business credit within a bank or credit institution.
• Strong analytical and logical thinking, goal‑oriented and responsible.
• Excellent verbal communication, persuasive sales ability and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Budgeting and expense management.
• Basic accounting and accrual principles.
• Proficiency with office computer programs (e.g., Microsoft Office).
