Junior Data Analyst – Retail Banking Analytics

About the role

The Bank of Georgia is looking for a Junior Data Analyst to support its Retail Banking Analytics team. You will work closely with senior analysts to transform raw banking data into actionable insights that drive loan and deposit strategies. This role offers the chance to develop reporting solutions and improve data‑driven decision making across the retail portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Automate manual reports to increase efficiency.
• Design and build interactive dashboards in Power BI.
• Process and clean large‑scale banking data using Oracle SQL.
• Analyze loan and deposit disbursement processes and key performance metrics.
• Strengthen internal reporting and performance‑tracking tools for better visibility and action.

Required profile

• Degree in Economics, Business, IT or a related field.
• Strong foundation in statistics and data interpretation.
• Fluent English, both spoken and written.
• Curious, analytical mindset with a strategic outlook.
• Proactive team player who continuously seeks process improvements.

Required skills

• SQL.
• MS Office.
• Power BI.
• Python (experience with PySpark is a plus).
