Information & Cyber Security Officer

About the role

Paysera Bank Georgia is seeking a qualified Information & Cyber Security Officer to strengthen its security framework, ensure regulatory compliance, and support secure business operations across its digital banking platform.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve information and cyber security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Coordinate and implement the annual security work plan.
• Manage internal and external security audits, including reporting and remediation.
• Lead mandatory security testing and oversee external audit processes.
• Respond to and investigate security incidents according to established procedures.
• Conduct risk assessments for existing and new processes, systems, and products.
• Promote security awareness through training and communication.
• Ensure compliance with National Bank of Georgia regulations and other relevant standards.
• Collaborate with IT, Risk, Compliance, and Audit teams to align security practices.
• Provide guidance and recommendations to senior management on security matters.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in information or cyber security in a managerial or coordinator role.
• Proven experience developing and implementing security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Hands‑on experience with risk assessment, incident management, and audit coordination.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, especially those of the National Bank of Georgia.
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and reporting abilities.
• Effective communication and coordination with cross‑functional teams.
• Fluent English.
• At least one relevant certification (CISM, CISSP, CISA, or equivalent).
