HSE & Safety Professional – Infrastructure Projects

About the role

SMEC, part of the Surbana Jurong Group, is seeking experienced HSE & Safety Professionals to join a major roads, highways, tunnels and bridge infrastructure project in Batumi. The role will focus on ensuring safety compliance across all construction activities and supporting the project’s safety management framework.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular HSE inspections and audits on site.
• Monitor and verify compliance with local and international safety standards.
• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of the safety management system.
• Promote safe work practices and provide guidance to site personnel.
• Assist in incident prevention, reporting and investigation.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification in HSE, Engineering or related field.
• NEBOSH or equivalent certification preferred.
• 8‑10+ years of experience in HSE roles on infrastructure or construction projects.
