Head of Strategic Advisory & Research

About the role

The Head of Strategic Advisory & Research leads the firm’s advisory and research practice, delivering high‑quality strategic consulting across real estate, hospitality, mixed‑use developments, urban planning, investment and public‑sector projects. The role blends business development, client relationship management, project delivery, team leadership and thought leadership to strengthen market position.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee strategic advisory assignments for developers, investors, financial institutions, corporate occupiers, government entities and international organisations.
• Advise clients on market entry, development concepts, highest‑and‑best‑use analysis, feasibility studies, investment strategies, asset repositioning and portfolio optimisation.
• Produce market reports, sector analyses, benchmarking studies and investment outlooks; maintain proprietary market databases.
• Manage multiple advisory engagements from proposal to completion, ensuring on‑time, on‑budget delivery and high‑quality outputs.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including valuation, capital markets, project management and external consultants.
• Lead, mentor and develop the Strategic Advisory & Research team, allocate resources and establish quality‑control procedures.
• Publish research papers, present market insights to clients and public forums, and enhance the firm’s reputation as a market leader.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Urban Planning, Architecture or a related field; Master’s degree (MBA, MSc) preferred.
• Professional qualifications such as MRICS, CFA or PMP are a plus.
• 3–5+ years of experience in real‑estate advisory, consulting, research, investment, valuation or strategy.
• Proven track record of leading complex consulting assignments and driving business development.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and strong client‑relationship skills.
