Group & Events Sales Executive

About the role

The Group & Events Sales Executive will act as the primary point of contact for guests, handling inquiries, reservations, and issues while driving revenue through effective sales techniques. This role supports the Sheraton brand by delivering exceptional service, promoting loyalty, and ensuring smooth office operations.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve guest calls, requests, and problems by contacting the appropriate department.
• Apply up‑selling and other sales techniques to maximize revenue and maintain guest loyalty.
• Provide complimentary gifts such as reward points, tickets, or certificates to recognize patronage.
• Promote brand awareness both internally and externally.
• Process Marriott Rewards redemptions and manage reservation requests, changes, and cancellations.
• Enter reservation and rewards information into the designated software system.
• Answer, record, and address guest inquiries via phone, fax, or mail.
• Perform general office duties including filing, emailing, typing, and faxing to support Sales & Marketing.
• Assist management in training and motivating staff, serving as a role model.
• Maintain professional appearance, confidentiality, and adherence to company policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 2 years of related work experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification required.
