Full-Time CT Technologist

About the role

The CT Technologist applies expertise to deliver safe, high‑quality imaging and a supportive patient experience. They are respected clinical professionals and essential members of a collaborative care team, ensuring accurate diagnostic procedures while maintaining patient comfort and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures following department guidelines, capturing diagnostic images with technical precision.
• Operate imaging equipment independently, adjusting techniques to minimize radiation dose (ALARA).
• Maintain cleanliness and functionality of rooms and equipment, reporting issues promptly.
• Obtain clinical history, verify orders, and accurately identify patients before exams.
• Explain procedures using AIDET, addressing patient questions and reducing anxiety.
• Administer contrast agents, perform venipuncture, and position patients correctly.
• Review and ensure image quality, reprocess as needed, and document studies in RIS/PACS.
• Monitor patient conditions, respond to emergencies, and maintain life‑support equipment.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year of radiology experience.
• Certifications: ARRT‑R (Radiography), ARRT‑CT (Computed Tomography), and BLS (American Heart Association).
• Ability to work independently, communicate effectively, and collaborate within a team.
