Experienced Audit Assistant

About the role

UHY Georgia LLC is seeking an Experienced Audit Assistant to join its audit team. The role involves supporting audit engagements for a diverse client base, ensuring audit evidence is obtained, documented and presented in line with the firm’s methodology and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Obtain and present appropriate audit evidence, addressing relevant audit objectives.
• Examine prior audit results to understand client‑specific processes.
• Document audit work according to UHY Georgia Audit Methodology, regulatory requirements and applicable IT tools.
• Identify audit differences and issues, escalating them as appropriate.
• Apply prevailing accounting standards and disclosure requirements to assigned tasks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics (MBA or Master’s degree is a plus).
• Partial or full qualification in CA, ACCA, ACA or CPA.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Russian is an asset.
• Readiness for intensive work, learning and business travel.
• Ability to work under high pressure and tight deadlines.
• Strong teamwork orientation.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with audit methodology and related IT systems.
