Delivery Operations Supervisor

About the role

Diplomat Georgia is seeking a Delivery Operations Supervisor to lead its Delivery Planning team in Tbilisi. The role ensures efficient route planning, monitors daily delivery performance, and collaborates closely with Sales and Delivery teams to support seamless execution of FMCG distribution.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the Delivery Planning team, ensuring smooth daily operations.
• Optimize route planning and vehicle utilization while tracking on‑time deliveries and customer visit completion.
• Analyze daily operations and adjust plans based on seasonality, sales volumes, regional distribution, and operational constraints.
• Prioritize delivery orders, communicate route changes to Commercial and Delivery teams.
• Monitor operational performance using TMS and other tools, reporting on route execution and truck utilization.
• Ensure delivery staff have functional equipment such as POD devices, cash registers, and chargers.
• Identify efficiency improvement opportunities and participate in process‑optimization projects.
• Coordinate Third‑Party Logistics (TPL) projects, handling day‑to‑day operations and route‑planning effectiveness.
• Support onboarding of new team members, introducing them to responsibilities and processes.

Required profile

• Previous experience in logistics or operations, preferably supervising a team.
• Ability to monitor multiple daily activities and respond quickly to changes.
• Strong communication, coordination, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good organizational and time‑management skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, operational environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with AI tools (advantageous).
• Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools (advantageous).
