DataOps Engineer – Cloud Infrastructure & Data Pipelines

About the role

Intermedia is seeking a proactive DataOps Engineer to join its Tech Operations team in Tbilisi. You will work closely with developers and data engineers to keep cloud‑based applications and data pipelines running reliably and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with development teams to deploy and maintain application infrastructure.
• Develop and support tooling that streamlines deployment and maintenance processes.
• Use Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm to move applications from development to production.
• Support in‑house and third‑party applications, handling deployments, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
• Create and manage automation pipelines for application deployment and maintenance.
• Administer Linux servers via the command line on a daily basis.
• Document processes and best practices clearly.
• Deploy, monitor, and maintain data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and related data infrastructure.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in DevOps engineering or a related field.
• Strong familiarity with Linux command line, networking, and Kubernetes environments.
• Willingness to handle both complex systems and routine operational tasks.
• Basic understanding of security best practices.
• Experience working with distributed or remote teams.
