Cost Estimator – Highway Projects

About the role

We are looking for a Cost Estimator to be based in our Tbilisi office. The role focuses on preparing detailed construction cost estimates for highway design projects and supporting budget preparation for major international infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed construction cost estimates for highway design projects.
• Review design drawings, technical specifications and Bills of Quantities.
• Perform quantity take‑offs and cost calculations.
• Develop and update unit rates based on current market conditions.
• Coordinate with engineers and other technical specialists.
• Validate cost estimates across different design stages.
• Support preparation and updating of project budgets.
• Identify significant cost variations and provide explanations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Cost Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in construction cost estimation or quantity surveying.
• Proven experience preparing cost estimates for highway and road infrastructure projects.
• Fluency in English (minimum B2) and ability to produce technical documentation in English.
• Georgian national with good knowledge of the local construction market, standards and pricing.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with cost‑estimation or quantity‑surveying software.
