Corporate Lawyer – Asset Management

About the role

We are looking for a qualified lawyer to join TBC Asset Management’s legal team. The role supports the development, registration and management of new investment products and funds, ensuring legal compliance and mitigating risks.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal support for the company’s business activities, including drafting and reviewing contracts, agreements, memoranda and articles of association.
• Analyze legal matters related to investment funds, asset management and financial products.
• Participate in the establishment and registration of new funds and investment products.
• Prepare and review syndication agreements, investment‑related agreements and related annexes.
• Maintain and update legal registers and corporate documentation.
• Coordinate with counterparties, external legal advisors and consultants, ensuring accurate communication.
• Identify legal risks and propose mitigation measures.
• Support the investment team with legally sound documentation and advice.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (Master’s preferred).
• 2–3 years of legal support experience in the financial sector.
• Knowledge of Georgian corporate, civil and financial legislation; securities market and investment funds legislation is a plus.
• Ability to conduct legal research and prepare legal opinions.

Required skills

• Strong contract drafting and legal analysis.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
