Certified Medical Technologist (CLS) – Full‑Time Night Shift

About the role

We are seeking a Certified Medical Technologist (CLS) to work the night shift in a clinical laboratory. The role involves performing a variety of laboratory tests under supervision, ensuring accurate results and maintaining equipment and records.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain acceptable accuracy in patient testing, proficiency, and competency assessments.
• Ensure correct specimen identification and document investigation of QA failures.
• Report lab data accurately within established turnaround times and interpret results in clinical context.
• Monitor test status, document communications, and adhere to department procedures and standards of behavior.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives, inspection preparations, and cost‑efficient practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Medical Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• ASCP certification (MT, MLS) or equivalent required upon hire.
• Minimum of 1 year laboratory experience preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with computer and data entry.
• Experience using Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Familiarity with Laboratory Information Systems (LIS).
• Experience with Epic and 3M systems is a plus.
