Business Tools Engineer

About the role

TradingView is seeking a Business Tools Engineer to enhance internal workflows and automate routine tasks for its global team. You will manage Atlassian tools, design efficient processes, and integrate new solutions that support thousands of colleagues worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Atlassian applications such as Jira, Confluence, and related plugins.
• Collaborate with teams to design and improve workflows and internal systems.
• Automate repetitive tasks using scripting languages (Groovy, Python, JavaScript, Bash).
• Maintain and develop directories in Jira Assets, including CMDB, HRDB, and IT asset databases.
• Introduce and integrate new tools into the existing ecosystem.

Required profile

• Proven experience administering Jira or similar Atlassian systems.
• Hands‑on experience with scripting and automation (Groovy, JavaScript, Bash, Python).
• Basic understanding of networking and web technologies (DNS, LDAP, proxy, web servers).
• Familiarity with Git and working with APIs.
• Intermediate level English communication.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
