Business Development Manager - Asset Management

About the role

TBC Asset Management, a subsidiary of TBC Bank Group PLC and the leading asset management company in Georgia, is looking for a Business Development Manager in Tbilisi. The team of around ten people runs a multi-strategy fund platform for Georgian and international investors focused on alternative investments. The role covers product development, AUM growth and support for sales channels.

Key responsibilities

• Research new product ideas (market sizing, competitor analysis, fee structures, demand assessment) and support product structuring with financial modelling, scenario analysis and parameter development
• Prepare documentation for approval with the National Bank of Georgia and internal functions (Legal, Risk, Compliance, Operations), and coordinate that communication
• Prepare offering documentation such as presentations and marketing materials
• Monitor launched products: assets raised, investor numbers and channel performance
• Support strategic projects: track workplans and deadlines, prepare project materials, presentations and status reports for management and the board
• Communicate with distribution channels and internal parties
• Monitor AUM dynamics and sales plan delivery, and support sales channels with materials, product training and responses to queries

Required profile

• Higher education in finance, economics, business administration or a related field
• 3+ years in the financial sector (asset management, brokerage, investment research, investment banking, corporate finance or audit)
• Good understanding of investment instruments and fund mechanics
• Clear written business communication in Georgian and English
• Experience preparing presentations and informational materials
• Ability to run several projects in parallel and meet deadlines
• Progress toward or completion of the CFA programme is an advantage
