Business Analytics Consultant

About the role

We are seeking a Business Analytics Consultant to join our Data Practice team. You will work with clients across financial services, retail, life sciences, energy and other sectors, helping them define data strategies, develop data products and foster a data‑driven culture.

Key responsibilities

• Define and measure business value and ROI for data analytics engagements.
• Support data product development by contributing to roadmaps, user stories, backlog management and adoption monitoring.
• Conduct discovery sessions and facilitate workshops with business and IT stakeholders to establish KPIs, success metrics and data solutions.
• Document current data states, identify improvement opportunities and recommend solutions that maximize outcomes.
• Apply data storytelling and visualization techniques to present insights and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business needs into actionable data strategies and deliverables.
• Promote data‑driven decision‑making and support adoption of analytics products across client organizations.
• Contribute to business development activities such as case studies, content creation and identifying new client opportunities.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence or related data‑driven project delivery.
• 3+ years in a client‑facing role as a Business Analytics or Data Analytics Consultant.
• Proven experience in data product development, including requirements gathering, user story definition, roadmap creation and adoption tracking.
• Strong proficiency with BI and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, QlikView).
• Working knowledge of data management, data governance principles and data architecture concepts.
• Demonstrated ability to facilitate workshops, interviews and discovery sessions with business and IT stakeholders.
