Bank GL Team Lead

About the role

Wolt is seeking an experienced finance professional to lead its Bank General Ledger (GL) team. The role involves shaping and managing bank accounting processes within a fast‑moving global tech environment, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Bank GL professionals, fostering a high‑performance culture.
• Oversee daily bank accounting activities, reconciliations, and issue resolution.
• Ensure timely and accurate month‑end closing and related reconciliations.
• Drive automation, process harmonisation, and scalability while maintaining compliance.
• Implement and enforce group accounting policies and principles.
• Assist with audit requests and prepare regulatory reporting.
• Maintain proper archiving of accounting documents.

Required profile

• Previous experience in accounting and team leadership.
• Strong analytical abilities and knowledge of accounting processes.
• Fluent English communication skills; additional languages a plus.

Required skills

• IFRS knowledge (preferred).
• Experience with NetSuite (preferred).
