Assistant in Accounting and Reporting

About the role

Moore ABC is seeking a motivated Assistant in Accounting and Reporting to join its finance team. You will work closely with senior accountants and clients, gaining exposure to audit and consulting projects while supporting core accounting functions.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accounting records and prepare financial reports.
• Prepare and submit electronic tax declarations.
• Organise, monitor and ensure the accuracy of tax documentation.
• Account for and control fixed assets.
• Record accounting transactions (expenses, bank operations, etc.) in the accounting system.
• Prepare and monitor contracts and related accounting documentation.
• Handle payroll accounting and monitor receivables and payables.
• Prepare written reports on critical issues and perform additional tasks as required.

Required profile

• Higher education in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of work experience in accounting.
• English proficiency at B2 level is an advantage.
• Logical and analytical thinking, goal‑oriented, high sense of responsibility and strong organizational skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Familiarity with the Tax Code of Georgia.
• ACCA certification (or progress towards it) is an advantage.
